The ONLY Taco Seasoning You’ll Ever Need
I don’t know about you, but I am THE WORST when it comes to forgetting the smallest, but often most important ingredient, at the grocery store.
You come home after spending an hour (maybe two!) combing the aisles, fighting the checkout lines, loading it all into the trunk, lugging everything into the house, putting it all away… only to realize you forgot that one thing you needed. For me, on numerous occasions, it has been a packet of taco seasoning! Silly, right?
Instead of running back to the store, we use this recipe for homemade taco seasoning using spices you probably already have in your cabinet, and keep a jar full and handy at any time. GAME. CHANGER! Not only does it eliminate the cost of purchasing something we *technically* already have, but you can customize the level of spiciness, amount of sodium, or overall flavor to your family’s preference. Another bonus of making this simple spice mix for your pantry is eliminating the harmful preservatives and additives found in most store-bought convenience items nowadays.
I hope you try this quick and easy alternative for your family, and be sure to let me know what you think in the comments below!
